I’ve been making an attempt at reading “Ctl + Alt + Del” (http://cad-comic.com) from the beginning. I’m not really sure I like it, but I keep reading. I hear Tim Buckley (the dude who does CAD) is from Connecticut, so I might as well support local artists, right?
I swiped this from Buckley’s blog. In his words, “I thought it was nifty.”
Make a list of 10 statements about yourself:

10. I’m relatively decent at Texas Hold’em Poker.
I was originally going to post the answers in a day or two, but I’m kind of forgetful, so odds are I’d forget to post the answers. So, they’re after the break.
1. I like to swim.
False. I am not a huge fan of swimming. At all. I CAN swim, I just choose not to.
2. I have an oral fixation.
True. It’s why I have my tongue pierced. When I’m nervous, stressed or upset in any way, I chew or suck on my tongue piercing. It sounds ridiculously dirty, but it keeps me relatively centered.
3. I’ve suffered from multiple snakebites.
True. My blood python, Skywalker, was particularly cage aggressive. I found out the hard way that I was going to need thick gloves or something to cover his head when I needed to remove him from his tank for feeding.
4. When I was 12, I broke my arm falling out of a tree.
False. Thankfully, (knock on wood,) I’ve never broken my arm, but I’ve taken my fair share of spills from trees.
5. I like wearing dresses and pretty things.
True. I do.
I’m really picky about those things, though, so it’s difficult for me to choose clothes I like.
6. I named my current hamster, Phoebe.
False. My mom was actually the one who named Phoebe. I wanted to name her Waffle. Mom said, “She’s a girl hamster, so she should have a girl name. She looks like a Phoebe. Let’s call her Phoebe.” And thus, Phoebe Waffle Hammipuff (or PhoebeWaffleHammipuff.)
7. My favorite color is gunmetal.
True. I have an attraction to things that are gray.
8. I read Stephen Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time” when I was 10.
False. Kind of a trick question. I read it when I was 13 to primarily freak my dad out.
9. When I was in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2007, I spent 4 nights hanging out with Henry Rollins.
True. I happened to be hanging out in the prep area in the theater venue my group was performing at and Hank walked in. He was performing his spoken word (more appropriately, storytelling,) for four nights, and had shown up to check out the specs for his show and talk to the crew. We were all sitting around talking, when the topic came to pets. He started talking about how he has two Tiger Reticulated pythons and I mentioned that I had snakes as well. So we wound up talking about snakes for a while, and that led to an invite to hang out with him and look at snake pictures. He was super fun to talk to and he showed me pictures from his recent trips around the world. I was really lucky to have gotten the chance to sit down with him.
10. I’m relatively decent at Texas Hold’em Poker.
False. I suck worse than anyone has ever sucked at Hold’em ever. That doesn’t mean I don’t like playing, I’m just awful. I do like playing for fun, though.
